Only to check meals, recipes, swaps and Chef’s suggestions against them, and so Chef can answer you safely. We never use them for ads, and we never use them to infer anything else about you.
Only from you: when you add or edit a profile, or when you type or say it to Chef.
On your iPhone. If you turn on Share your kitchen, it’s also kept in your iCloud account and shared, through Apple, with the people you invite. Our server doesn’t store it, except a Chef answer you choose to report (kept up to 1 year).
Only when Chef is on: Anthropic (Claude), and xAI (Grok) on calls and steps read aloud, so Chef can answer you. Names from profiles are swapped for labels like “Person A” first. Neither company uses it to train AI. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone else.
